Hot Sauce Bottle With Belly

For those in the audience who were missing their ration of hot sauce bottles with knots, here you go. The rest of you can just play along for a minute, OK?

This one I actually know which knots were used – it’s not like I usually write it down. Starting from the top and omitting any non visible knots used as mouses:

An 11 Lead X 7 bight Turk’s Head tied with gutted black paracord.

A 7 Lead X 6 Bight Turk’s Head with a matching Turk’s Head for a herringbone interweave.

A green paracord Spanish Ring knot.

A double Gaucho knot of 3 passes done in white paracord over a forgotten mouse.

The last one is a Turk’s Head of over 2, under 2, over 2, under 2 weave. I don’t know if this makes it part of the Headhunter family or not; there isn’t much documentation either way.

Now my question is, does knowing all this improve your enjoyment / appreciation of this whole thing? Should I make an effort to include this sort of information on future knots? Does it matter to you, or should I be quiet and let you look at the pretty pictures? Your wish is my command.

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to read:
